Forcing Web Portals

The Problem

Occasionally we get calls/emails from people who are unable to get web portals to pop up. A common example is when a person is connected to hotel wifi but can't load pages. Generally there is a web portal they need to sign into or click an accept button on, but it doesn't always pop up due to https being the protocol now.

The Solution

We found a site to help remedy the issue. The site is http://neverssl.com/ and is a plain website designed specifically for this purpose. Simply have the person type in the address and the web portal should pop right up.
