MSTEP DRC Insight - Starting the Test


Server Status - MSTEP DRC Insight/eDirect

ChromeBook

  1. Log out of the Chrome Device
  2. Find the Apps menu, to the right of the Shutdown button
  3. Select "DRC Insight Online Assessments"


  4. Click the link to "Michigan Online Assessment"
    1. Note: If the page doesn't load after clicking that link, the problem is on our end. If something breaks afterward, the problem is with the state servers.



  5. Click the "Test Sign In" link under the M-Step section.



  6. Enter Username and Password exactly as provided (case sensitivity) and click "Sign In"



If there are multiple login errors you may need to back out to the login screen, re-open the kiosk app, then enter the credentials.



If a student receives an “invalid login,” select the “back” button in the bottom left
corner of the sign-in screen. Select Test Sign In below the M-STEP icon (be sure you

are not selecting below the MI-Access or Early Literacy and Mathematics icons or the

OTT) and try again. Verify correct Username and Password have been entered.

Your Username and Password are found on your test ticket.


Windows

  1. Login to the machine.
  2. Select the DRC Insight app from the desktop (If not on desktop, see part A below)

    1. If not on the desktop: 
      1. Click on the search button in the bottom left
      2.  and search for DRC Insight online assessments
      3. Select the DRC Insight Application
  3. Click the link to "Michigan Online Assessment"
    1. Note: If the page doesn't load after clicking that link, the problem is on our end. If something breaks afterward, the problem is with the state servers.





  4. Click the "Test Sign In" link under the M-Step section




  5. Enter Username and Password exactly as provided (case sensitivity) and click "Sign In"
