Administering Google SSO for PowerSchool
PowerSchool’s Google SSO is based on Google email addresses. Each Staff and Student will need to have their email addresses entered into the identity provider “Global Identifier”.
For teaching staff, navigate to: Staff > Account Access and Affiliations and you will see the field
For admin staff, navigate to: Staff > Admin Access and Roles and you will see the field
For students, go to: Student Profile > Guardian and Student Account Access and you will see the field.
Note: some users may see an error if using an old bookmark. They should be able to click “Sign in here with your external credentials” to be signed-in automatically.
