VariQuest Cut-out Maker

Please call Jennell at REMC to check-out the cutout maker first. (906-482-4520) REMC1 will provide the password you need to access the software, then follow the instructions below to remotely control the computer and create your designs.  When you are ready to have your designs cut-out, you'll need to contact REMC1 again.

From A Windows Machine

• Click the following link to download the file to your computer from here -> cutout.RDP
• Open the file.  If you cannot locate it, check your downloads folder.
• Enter username: CC1326-GENNET\cutout     password: provided by REMC1.
• Use VariQuest to design your cut-out.  (launch the program by double-clicking the icon on the desktop).
• To initiate the cut-out maker, call REMC1 (906-482-4520), request the paper color, and provide your mailing address for delivery.
• Upon calling, the "go" button on the cut-out maker is required to be pressed for each page sent.
• Please sign-out after your session is over

From A Mac

• Download the Windows Remote Desktop program from the App Store and install it to your computer.
• Open Windows Remote Desktop and select the + to add a new desktop connection.
• Enter cutout.remc1.net in the PC Name field.
• In the user Account field, select "add user account."  
• Enter the following credentials: username: CC1326-GENNET\cutout     password: provided by REMC1.
• Save and double click to launch
• Use VariQuest to design your cut-out.  (launch the program by double-clicking the icon on the desktop).
• To initiate the cut-out maker, call REMC1 (906-482-4520), request the paper color, and provide your mailing address for delivery.
• Upon calling, the "go" button on the cut-out maker is required to be pressed for each page sent.
• Please sign-out after your session is over
