Setting up Secure POP
Thunderbird
Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings > Edit > Select SSL, port 110 should change to port 995.
Outlook Express
Tools > Accounts > Properties > Advanced > Incoming Mail (POP) > Change port 110 (Defalut) to port 995 and check SSL
Outlook
Tools > Account Settings > Double Click email account > More Settings > Advanced > Incomming Server > Check the box "This server requires a securce connection (SSL)"
Setting up Secure SMTP
Thunderbird
Tools > Account Settings > OutGoing Server (SMTP) > Edit > Change port 25 (Default) to port 465 > select SSL.
Outlook Express
Tools > Accounts > Properties > Advanced > OutGoing Mail (Smtp) > Change port 25 (Default) to port 465 and check SSL.
Outlook
Tools > Account Settings > Double Click email account > More Settings > Advanced > Outgoing Server > Select SSL from "use the following type of encryption" > Change port 25 to port 465
