Unlocking Accounts


NOTE: ALL district secretaries should know how to unlock user accounts. IF nobody is around who knows how to unlock accounts onsite or in the office PUT A TICKET IN and refer them to the secretary of their school. Tell them to call back if the secretary is unable to help.

There is also "Sign In Attempt Restrictions" where Powerschool will lock an IP out after a specified amount of attempts. To delete these restrictions, go to: 

Start Page > System > Security > Sign In Attempts Restrictions > Disabled IP Addresses


You will see a list of disabled IP addresses, verify the locked out address (if there are others, leave them locked) and click on it. You will find a delete button, click it and you will delete that restriction.
