Settings for LDAP integration between PowerSchool and AD

PowerSchool Import Fields for AD Integration

In PowerSchool, navigate to:

Start Page > System Administrator > Security > LDAP Directory Setup

The big thing to note is to insure that you have the "domain context" correct. This is what points Powerschool at AD and tells PS where to look in AD for the accounts.

In this case, take a look at pic 2, the full line is ou=Adams,dc=adams,dc=adremc1,dc=org We could also specify it further to ou=students,ou=Adams,dc=adams,dc=adremc1,dc=org to narrow the search to just students. If you take a look at the 3rd pic, you will see the AD structure that we are using in this example.
