Changing your unavailable greeting 

  • Keep in mind the following steps are also spoken to you after you log into the system.

  • Recommended: Use your handset to perform these recordings vs speakerphone to reduce background noises.

  • If you have any issues please call or email REMC1 Supportnet at 9064877624 or support@remc1.net (or use live chat from our website at https://support.remc1.net)

  1. Dial into your voicemail as if you are checking your messages (Depending on model the button may look different) and May say Messages OR look like the following:

    or dial *97 and hit the “send” or “dial” hotkey at the bottom of the display.

  2. Log in with your voicemail PIN. If you do not know your pin call or email SupportNet at 9064877624 or support@remc1.net and we’ll let you know what it is.

  3. Note: You cannot set your voicemail PIN to your extension number. The system will not allow that.

  4. From the voicemail menu, press "0" (you don't have to listen until the robot lady stops talking).

  5. Unavailable greeting Press "1" and wait for the tone to start recording your unavailable greeting (the greeting played to the caller when your phone rings to voicemail)

  6. The system will start recording at the tone 

  7. Record your message and then press # to save then listen to the prompts and Press 1 to save/accept, 2 to listen to it (prior to saving), 3 to re-record (if you are unhappy with the results). Once saved you will be returned to the mailbox admin menu where you can record your name with option 3 or just hang up if you are done

  8. Record your name Press “3”. Start recording at the tone and hit Pound # when done. Press 1 to save/accept, 2 to listen to it (prior to saving), 3 to re-record (if you are unhappy with the results).

  9. Once your name is saved you can just hang up the phone if you are done.
