- Sign in with your REMC credentials.
- The first page has a list of all Google services. Choose the services you wish to download.
- Some services have a drop down menu for details and options, (eg. Contacts allows different formats for viewing).
- Click on the "Next" button.
- Select the file type you wish to download the information as.
- .zip - The most common compressed file type and can be opened on most computers. If there is any doubt select this option.
- .tgz - Is most like the .zip file. It can, however, keep more information in the file. This may need extra software on the computer to be opened.
- .tbz - Is also like the .zip file, but the opposite of a .tgz file. The .tbz can only hold one file to compress.
- Next, select the method for getting your archived information.
- "Send link to Email" - Will send a link to the location of the archive.
- "Add to Drive" - Will add the archive to the Google drive of the logged in email address (the data can be downloaded from here).
- "Add to Dropbox" - Will add the archive to Dropbox. You must link your google account and dropbox account for this to work.
- "Add to Microsoft OneDrive" - Will add the archive to your Microsoft account. You must link the Microsoft account and Google account for this to work.
- Wait. This information takes a while to find and compress. You will receive an email when the setup has been done and your requested information is available.
