Conference Room B Audio/Visual Setup: A How To

STEP 1 Start here first - Turn on TV’s 

  • The remotes should be sitting on the window sill behind the corner podium. Please return them here face down so they solar charge.

 

STEP 2 - Select the podium you will utilize

The Corner Desktop Podium

  • Log into the desktop (the login information is labeled on the monitor)

    • When your presentation has concluded please log back out of the desktop.

The Center Standing Podium

  1. Plug the HDMI and USB cables into the laptop you’ll be presenting from and POWER UP YOUR LAPTOP.

  2. If for any reason you need to stop sharing your display, you can hit the HDMI off switch button on the right side of the Center Podium. Green is on, blank is off.

 

STEP 3 - select the podium for TV OUTPUT (and camera input if desired)

 

  1. Select the correct HDMI input to display on the TV’s

  2. For the Corner Podium, hit the button on the HDMI Switch so that a blue light shines under the HDMI input labeled “Corner Podium”. 

  3. For the Center Standing Podium, hit the button on the HDMI Switch so that a blue light shines under the HDMI input labeled “Center Podium”. 

 

 

  1. To select the Room Camera:Use the Camera USB Switch located on the front of the corner desk to toggle between the two podium locations. Your laptop MUST be plugged into the USB and powered on, and logged in BEFORE manipulating the toggle. The AVER conference camera will wake up, aim,  and show a blue light when you have selected the appropriate input from the Switch. Utilize the Conference Camera AverRemote (while pointing it at the camera) to aim and zoom the camera to your liking.
