Turn on the TV’s as the First Step

  1. Turn on each TV utilizing its labeled remote. 

    1. The remotes are labeled on the front.

    2. The TV’s are labeled on the bottom right.

  1. At the end of their use please turn off the TV’s and return the remotes to the window sill.

    1. Flip the two Samsung remotes upside down so they can solar charge.

Conference Camera

  1. Select the input for the appropriate podium.

    1. Use the Camera USB Switch located on the front of the corner desk to switch between the two podium inputs. The Conference Camera should wake up, aim, and show a blue light when you have selected the appropriate input from the Switch.

    2. If the Conference Camera is showing an orange light then it is not being recognized by your device.

    3. Use the Conference Camera remote, located on the window sill, to move and zoom the camera head to the position you desire. 

   

Corner Podium

  1. To utilize the corner desktop make sure the desktop and monitor are both powered on. 

    1. Select the “Podium HDMI Switch” input on the Matrix Switcher (usually this is already set)

    2. If you are using the Conference Camera, flip the Conference Camera input using the instructions from the Conference Camera section to ensure the corner desktop is selected for the camera (and not the center podium).

    3. Select the correct HDMI input to display on the TV’s using the desktop HDMI switch box.

      1. For the Corner Podium, hit the button on the HDMI Switch so that a blue light shines under the HDMI input labeled “Corner Podium”.

    4. After your presentation please log out of the desktop.

  1. To utilize your own laptop on the corner podium plug the HDMI cable labeled Laptop A into your laptop.

    1. Select the Laptop A input on the Matrix Switcher.

    2. The Conference Camera can not be used with this setup. It can only be used with the corner desktop or at the center podium.

  2. If volume is an issue, refer to point number 2 on the Lightspeed Amp and Microphones section.

Center Podium

  1. Select the “Podium HDMI Switch” input on the Matrix Switcher. (usually this is already set)

  2. At the podium: Plug the HDMI and USB cables into the laptop you’ll be presenting from.

    1. If you’re not using the Conference Camera you won’t need to plug in the USB.

    2. If you are using the Conference Camera AFTER you plug the camera USB cable into your laptop, adjust the Conference Camera input using the instructions from the Conference Camera section.

  3. Select the correct HDMI input to display on the TV’s.

    1. For the Center Podium, hit the button on the HDMI Switch so that a blue light shines under the HDMI input labeled “Center Podium”.

  4. If volume is an issue, refer to point number 2 on the Lightspeed Amp and Microphones section.

  1. If for any reason you need to turn off your display, you can select the HDMI off switch on the right side of the Center Podium. Green is on, blank is off.

Lightspeed Amp and Microphones

  1. Make sure that the Lightspeed Amp is turned on.

    1. If the device is on the power light will glow white. 

    2. If the device is off, push the Power button to turn it on.

  2. If you need to adjust the volume of the room (after checking the volume settings on your presentation computer and all other devices) select the Audio Input button and turn the Power button to turn the volume up or down.

  3. Select either the handheld (tall) microphone or the presenter mic/lanyard mic (short) microphone from the charging cradle on top of the corner podium desk.

    1. To turn the handheld microphone on, push the Power button in the middle and the indicator light will switch from white to blue.

    2. To adjust the volume of the handheld (rarely if ever necessary) microphone select the Up and Down arrow buttons under the Power button.

    3. To turn the lavalier microphone on, push the Power button on the top and the indicator light will switch from white to blue.

    4. To adjust the volume of the handheld microphone (rarely if ever necessary) select the Up and Down arrow buttons on the side of the microphone.

  4. When you are finished with your presentation please turn off the microphone and return it to the charging station located on top of the corner podium desk.

VocoPro Board Meeting Microphone Sytem

  1. POWER ON ALL four VocoPro Microphone head end boxes. They’re located under the corner podium desk. The power button is on the front. Once on, a red light will glow above each power button.

  1. Turn on each podium mic: Hold the Power button on the VocoPro microphone for 3 seconds to turn it on.

    1. After you do this a yellow light will turn on above the corresponding letter assigned to the microphone on the VocoPro Microphone head end box.

  2. To mute your microphone TAP the Power button and the green light on the base will turn red. To unmute, select the Power button again and the base light will turn green again.

  3. When done with the system TURN ALL MICROPHONES OFF by holding down the power button for three seconds. The base lights will go blank when the microphones are turned off. Failing to turn the microphones off will result in dead batteries.

  4. Optional but encouraged: When done with the system turn off the VocoPro head end boxes located under the corner podium.
